Did you know… Peter Burke had the Eagle Project of the Year in 2017?

Scouting Quarterly, Seneca Waterways Newsletter, Spring 2018, page 5Peter Burke, Troop 37’s youngest Assistant Scoutmaster, received recognition last Spring for the Seneca Waterways Council Eagle Project of the year. Peter was a member of Troop 195 of Greece, before transferring over to Troop 37, along with other family members, last Spring. His 2017 Eagle project was summarized in the Council’s Spring 2018 newsletter as follows: “He designed and fabricated a movable chicken coop for the Homesteads for Hope Community Farm in Rochester (a sustainable community farm for adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities). The project was a chicken coop mounted on wheels to facilitate the relocation and protection of 24 chickens. 50 volunteers & 1,050 hours.”

261 Scouts earned the Eagle rank in Seneca Waterways Council in 2017. Congratulations to Peter!
